So what would you say if I told you that marriage was intended to make you holy and not happy? Would it change the way you looked at your spouse? Would it change the way you treated him/her?
Those were the questions we were presented in church today.
I will be pondering them.

I have always felt that marriage was a partnership. However, I also feel that each partner should be more interested in the other's happiness than their own.
Commit yourself to being the best spouse possible.
If you truly chose well, that person has already made that same commitment.
