More swimming at gram grams...

Jada enjoyed some more time with her friend Savannah. They got pretty crazy in the pool. The girls even started jumping in the deep end like Jada's brothers and sisters! :0)

It must have been a fun-filled day because Jada didn't even make it to the car before she fell asleep!

I'm going to a birthday party...

Jada went to her friend's birthday party. She had so much fun. They played water games, hit a pinata, and ate some cake. Jada only has a few kids her age that we let her play with so she really enjoyed this time with Maddie...

Sleepover with my cousin

Jada just loves having her Bre-Bre around. Her cousin spent a few nights at our house and I just had to get them matching jammies!

More fun with friends

One of the days that my friend Patty was here from Texas we went to Hollywood. We saw the usual attractions, and we spent some time looking at Michael Jackson's star. There were many, many people there and tons of messages and gifts. It was really moving.





After Hollywood we went to Universal Studios. We had a great day. Weather was nice, kids were excited, and the park was really fun. Here are some pictures from the day.

True Texas friend

During my brief time in Texas I met an amazing girl. She was the teacher who taught next door to me and she really helped me acclimate to the Texas way. I have missed her terribly since I've been back in CA. She decided to end my suffering and come to CA. It was great to see her and we had a blast hanging out with her kiddos...

First, we went to the beach.







Then we went hiking at our favorite spot...

My absence...

Ok guys... I know I have been AWOL for a while. I have no excuses. Ok actually I do. I went on a cruise, no computer. Then my friend Patty came from Texas, no time for the computer, I was deathly ill (and I'm so not kidding. Ok maybe exaggerating a tad), then my first born took the only computer I have with her to Ohio (ok so it's really her computer, but still...)

Anyhoo~

I'm back and I have sooooooo much to catch you up on. And yes, I am feeling better. After three trips to the doctor and several medicines, I am feeling much better.

Also, please pray for my momma. She went to the ER this morning with horrible stomach pains and the doctor decided to keep her overnight. Pray for her and for my dad, perty please...

Summer fun at gramma's

We had the best 4th of July ever!! :0) My husband didn't have to work and we had most of the kids with us swimming in grandma's new pool! Here are the kids posing in the glorious water.



Here is my little swimmer in the big pool. She is swimming all by herself... Well, with her floaties that is!



Then the kids got creative and started jumping in doing various tricks. My brother got in on the action and did a flop of his own! Ouch!
