Why teenagers should not be parents...

We left our sweet Jada unattended while our other kids cleaned the kitchen. In no time they put her to work... I'm thinking she is too young to mop the floor. What do you think? :0)

Graduation

Our son graduated!!!

Woohoo...

Three down, three to go! :0)

Bathtime beauty

Here is my beautiful Cayden in my bathtub! Too cute for words...

Why kids are sometimes more Godly than adults...

As adults we sometimes tend to be a bit judmental. I said it... It's true. A new person starts working where you work and you "size them up." We all do it. We know we shouldn't but we do. We are sometimes nicer to people that are more like us or are "better" than us in some way (skinnier, prettier, better clothes/hair/shoes).

Infact, I often find myself drawn to blogs of women that I admire for one or more of these reasons. They seem to be "more put together" or are "better" moms. I don't know what it is. I don't even know that I have given it much thought until the other day when I introduced Jada to the daughter of a woman I work with. I watched how these two little girls embraced each other within the first minute of meeting and were inseperable the entire afternoon.

It made me think.

Why is it that children are able to embrace one another so easily and adults, who are seemingly smarter than children, take weeks, months, or even years to "bond?" Why is it that children are more like Jesus in their simple acceptance of others, yet adults, who have studied the Word in depth, have a hard time doing just that?

I don't know the answer.

I just know that I want to be more like Jada (I mean Jesus)! :0)

This first picture is the very moment that Jada met Savannah.

This second picture is about one minute into the meeting.

And these last pictures are the girls throughout the rest of their play-date. You would think they were best friends already! :0)

You know what?

Our God is so good... I am so grateful to tell you that ALL of our children received their passports!!! I am ecstatic!! It was touch and go for a while but He truly worked it out for us.

We will try to honor Him this vacation and lift Him up in all we do. He made it possible for a reason and we can do no less than to give Him the Grace He so righteously deserves...

Amen and amen...
